Our Client
Black & Veatch (B&V) is a leading global engineering, consulting and construction company. Founded in the USA in 1915, B&V operates in over 100 countries worldwide. Dustacco has built an excellent relationship with the company, having worked for them as sub-contractor on various water projects in Scotland and England since 2007.
Project Details
Dustacco won a £2.5m contract with B&V as part of a major upgrade at Davyhulme Waste Water Treatment Works (WwTW), one of the largest in the UK, serving a population equivalent of 1.2 million for sewage treatment in and around the city. Our role in the project involved supplying, manufacturing and installing 8,000m of above-ground Stainless Steel, Scotchkote ™ Carbon Steel and Ductile Iron process pipework, plus the manufacture and installation of 250T of galvanized mild steel supports, bridges and metalwork. In addition to the main contract, we also successfully delivered the detailed design and installation of £500k of boiler house services (steam, condensate, gas, oil, water, air, access metalwork and ventilation) for both B&V and steam specialists Spirax-Sarco.

Project Details
Dustacco won the contract to provide mechanical installation at a Black & Veatch site in Dunbar. With the job involving detailed design, supply and installation of pipework, mechanical equipment, access metalwork and thermal insulation, Dustacco offered a ‘One Stop Shop’ for these services.
